Mr. Vogelzang received his undergraduate degree from Calvin College in 1969 and his Juris Doctorate degree from Valparaiso University School of Law in 1978. He joined the firm in 1980. Since that time, he has been active in defending claims and lawsuits in state and federal courts and in administrative forums. His practice is concentrated in defending governmental agencies, school districts, businesses and professional organizations. Areas of primary emphasis include employment-related issues, corporate litigation, and general property and casualty.

Mr. Vogelzang has built his career as a trial lawyer. With over thirty years of practice, he has an established reputation in the professional community for decisiveness and results.
When not practicing law, Mr. Vogelzang enjoys waterfowling, archery hunting for big game in North America, fly fishing in the streams of West Michigan, and salmon fishing on the Great Lakes.
